We hit our goal a lot quicker than I expected. Thanks to Kourtas and Kamryn, who, with the help of the couple dollars I already had in my Paypal, have ensured we're styling for the next year. Kamryn shall henceforth be known as Moneybags. Kourtas shall be Sparechange. The rest of you be collectively known as Pocketlint.

The success with this has me thinking about doing donations for other guild-related things, such as the Vent server(s) and what not.

I *HATE* ads. They're ugly, potentially unsafe to click on, and did I mention ugly? SO! Here's the solution. We upgrade our service here. 3 months for $20.97, 6 months for $35.94, or 12 months for $59.88.

I can't really afford this up front as I've done in the past for our other various endeavors (forums, past sites, etc.), so I'm asking for helps here, people. I'm putting a Paypal donation button here. It will remain until we've secured what we needs. Also, drop some comments about which one you think we should be doing. I'd like to see the 12 months (as it ends up being the cheapest per month at $4.99), but I leave that to all of you.

Changing hosts, changing sites, breaking forums, wiping databases. What could I do next?

I personally have always preferred phpbb to any of the other forum options out there, which is why we've always had separate forums. Well...my new webhost for that kinda sucks. A lot. I also didn't like how the forums and the site were disconnected from one another. Some people used the forums, or the site, rarely both, and I think it cause a lot of confusion and was needlessly complicated. Long story short (but not too short), we're trying the whole integrated thing again, this time with a site that hosts phpbb forums. Huzzah. Maybe.

Things are very, very spartan at the moment. That will change. When? I don't know.
